During the Korean War many African Americans were treated fairly. Yet tension still arose every now and then. One instance is the 24th Infantry. This group of soldiers were one of the only all African American groups. This may seem like a good thing, but this group had been segregated on purpose. This caused some distrust within the armed forces. This was a rare occurrence because usually African Americans and others worked well together, as seen in the picture.
